Drop-off analysis counts people who do not continue from each funnel step and provides a starting point for investigating why. It locates bottlenecks hidden by an overall conversion rate.

Select a step in the fictional funnel to see the count and share lost relative to the previous step. Investigate errors, missing information, or price surprises at high-drop stages.

A drop-off rate does not prove a cause. It changes with the period and cohort, and some exits are reasonable decisions.

When to use

Use it to prioritize improvements in signup, checkout, or application flows.
