Exact, phrase, and broad match types control how far a registered keyword can reach into search intent. They are not simply string-containment rules.

The demo sends sample queries through three conceptual gates. Real matching uses context and meaning, so it cannot predict actual serving.

Broader matching can discover demand but can also admit irrelevant searches. Review search terms and use exclusions to set boundaries.

When to use

Use it to tune reach versus relevance, then validate with actual search-term data.
